Baked Rice

Ingredients:

  • 100g Whole Grain Rice
  • 200g Potatoes
  • 1 can Chickpeas
  • 150g Broccoli

Instructions:

Oh I tell you that was so yummy, please try this out, its worth the work.

For our known first step, cook the Rice like it says on the package and preheat the oven to 220 C°.

Half of the cooking time of the Rice, later, peel and cube the Potatoes and steam them in a pot of water for 15 Minutes. Afterward cut the Broccoli into its florets and steam them in an extra pot of water for 5 minutes.

Once the Potatoes will be ready, drain them from the excess water and blend them with a handblender to a creamy sauce (with the help of some water).(just like desired it will be thicker or creamier)

Good-now you got the béchamel sauce.

Lets Continue!! Half way done!! Drain and wash the Chickpeas and drain the Broc from the water, with which you cooked it with. Mix those two goodnesses together and once the Rice is ready, that too.

Mix..mix..mix, till everything is well combined and place it into a baking dish. Pour the béchamel sauce on top and spread it evenly. And bake it for 10 to 15 minutes.
