A heart-warming Christmas hokkaido soup

Ingredients

  • 1 massive Hokkaido pumpkin (1500g)

instructions

Basically…. remove the seeds, cut it into cubes, steam it and Puree it….

But come on let’s not be mean and explain everything a bit more. So like said remove the seeds and cube the whole thing..

Now steam it for ten minutes in a pot of water and afterwards remove around a handful of the cubes for some while pieces in the soup..

The rest will be pureed with a hand blender to a smooth soup with the help of around 200 to 300 ml of water. (if not more)

Then put the cubes, we had just removed, again into the soup and give it a good mix, before you let the soup simmer for around five more minutes and enjoy it!!

like the name says it’s great for Christmas!!
